Michelle Darboe BVSc GP Cert (SAP) MRCVS

I qualified from Liverpool university in 1998. I worked for 1 year in mixed practice in Gloucestershire before moving to join Tremain Veterinary Group as a small animal vet. I studied and completed my post graduate General Practitioner Certificate In Small Animal Practice in 2003. I thoroughly enjoy working at Tremain Veterinary Group and love living in West Oxfordshire with my family. I am now in the fortunate position with my colleague Jane Baily to be co-director of the practice and I look forward to the challenges ahead.

Jane Baily BVSc

I joined Tremain Veterinary Group in 2006 and really enjoy working here. I have two dogs, a Springer spaniel and a Labrador cross, and since joining the practice I have acquired two rescue cats. Our house is now full! In 2010, with my colleague Michelle, I became co-director of the practice. I'm sure there will be many interesting and challenging experiences in our future.

Associates

Graham Tremain MA VetMB

I qualified from Cambridge university in 1979 and spent several years in Herefordshire and Somerset, working on farms as well as with smaller animals. I joined the Witney practice of Sterling and Kitto in 1986, became a partner when Mr. Sterling retired and took sole charge in 1999 on the retirement of Mr. Kitto. In 2010, I was delighted to pass ownership of the practice to younger colleagues while retaining my role as a veterinarian.

Mandy Fyson BA VetMB

In 1986 I qualified from Cambridge Vet School. My first job was in mixed practice in the west of Scotland. Since then I have worked in both large and small animal practices and joined Tremain Veterinary Group in July 2005. I have 4 children and my interests include gardening, photography and drawing.

Debbie Morris

I joined the team here in July 2008 and am enjoying ver much my role and the people I work with. I currently work part time in the office, which suits me very well with two young children at home. I have always had pets growing up and love being around animals here at the practice. I have a black Labrador called Tammy and, since starting here, have adopted a stray cat who goes by the name of Tinkerbell.

Nurses

Helen Cox RVN EVN - Head Nurse

I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1997 and passed my Equine Certificate in 2001. I became a member of the Tremain Veterinary Group team in January 2004 and was promoted to Head Nurse in June 2006. The aspects of my job which give me the greatest satisfaction are surgical nursing and the nurse clinics. It is brilliant to be able to talk to the clients about any worries they may have and to give them helpful advise. I have many interests which include walking with my dog, reading and socialising, but I derive most pleasure from riding my horse Cracker.

Rachael Morgan RVN

I began working in a small animal practice in Abingdon in September 1999 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in July 2003. Shortly after qualifying, I moved to a mixed practice in Oxford where I necame an NVQ Assessor, enabling me to pass on my skills and assist in the training of student veterinary nurses. I moved to this practice in December 2007. I have two cats, called Stevie and Rubie, one rabbit and two guinea pigs.

Katie Whalley RVN

I joined the Tremain Vetrinary Practice in June 2005 as an auxillary nurse, began training as a student veterinary nurse in September 2006 and am now delighted to be fully qualified. I have a Labrador, called Caesar, and two cats. I enjoy the daily challenges and variation that the job presents.

Claire Merry Auxiliary Nurse

I started work with the practice in August 1989 as a Saturday helper and progressed to a full time position when I finished school. I worked as a veterinary nurse for thirteen years and only left to have my daughter in 2003. I returned part-time in September 2004 and 17 years on I'm still here and thoroughly enjoying my job.

Charlotte Tremain VN

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1975 and worked in a large and very busy mixed practice on the Hertfordshire/Essex border, where I became Head Nurse. I sat on the British Veterinary Nurse Association Council for a period in its earlier days. In 1977 a student from Cambridge, arrived to see practice, which resulted in marriage in 1979! A move to Herefordshire and then Somerset followed and we joined this practice in 1986. Having raised a family, I am now working part-time in the practice where I am enjoying meeting clients.

Receptionist

Shirley Gamage

In April 1995 I joined the practice as receptionist. I have, since that time come to know many of our clients and their pets very well. I gain a great deal of pleasure from making people welcome and in assisting them with any queries they may have.
